B&M Engineering participated in the studies (project management and execution studies) for the metallic, concrete, and wood frameworks of the building and access bridge for the CIME CARON project, Val Thorens/ Orelle.
The complex has three levels. It includes a rooftop offering drinks and snacks, a restaurant with large windows to maximize the panoramic view, a seminar room, and on the lower floor, a "lounge" wine bar offering hot drinks and sodas. The complex also features a souvenir shop.
A construction site in a unique location, offering a spectacular 360° view.
Project challenges:
✅ Extreme altitude (3,200 m) with harsh weather conditions (wind, snow)
✅ Foundations with over 110 micropiles
✅ Curtain glass facade for full immersion in the landscape
✅ Connection to a suspended bridge
